Omen

It was such a warm day.

Tom didn’t mind a little heat though. In fact, careless as he was,he rarely minded anything at all.But something felt different today,he thought when he noticed the dead, black raven in front of him.

Suddenly,a distant memory popped up in his head.

It happened on a day as warm as this one.
She was old and looked terrible.

Unexpectedly, she clutched Tom’s hand, looked him straight in the eye and said in a queer whisper:

The world as we know it will soon come to an end.

And now he could swear he saw a dead, black raven in her hands.

Hey you

Some days you just have to create your own sunshine.

I just read this today and realised something.

It all depends on our own selves.

No one’s gonna come and make everything okay. No one’s gonna just make all our problems disappear. The world simply doesn’t function like that.

Therefore we just have to get our shit together and move on.No matter what.No matter how ugly the world seems today. No matter how terrible everything looks and feels.

There are better days on the way and damn right we should be ready to enjoy them when they finally come.

Everything’s gonna be okay.

All black everything

The darkness is so confusing, I swear.

It fills you up with fear and anxiety, claws up your throat and you can feel yourself drowning into its dark soul. But, at same time, there is something really comforting about it. The way it lets you be your true self. They way it makes you dream while bringing back memories you thought were long forgotten. It makes you second-guess all your choices and decisions in life, all your wrongs and rights and silently asks if they were really wrong or right. What was once thought to be a wrong turn ends up pretty nicely in the end,so maybe it wasn’t wrong after all. Maybe there are no mistakes in life, just positive or negative experiences. Life lessons. Or maybe nothing really matters. Maybe we are all irrelevant.

There really is something about darkness that makes you think..
